Day 17 Moratinos and the long Roman road

The weather has improved as today was a bright sunny day, not too hot and not too cold. A great gift for Fathers day. Perfect Camino weather for putting in 30 km. Good thing too as today was a boring day for scenery. Aside from the long straight Roman road that I walked today, there was not much to see.

This morning I met Jenny from Illinois at breakfast. She too has been walking the Camino, with a target arrival date of July 8th in Santiago de Compostela same as Lori and I.

Last night there was a classical guitar concert in town, an artist from Mexico. Quite a talented person and a real treat to watch.

Still battling some blisters, in fact got one last night walking in sandals. Argggg…. time to visit the pharmacy again for more blister supplies. First challenge is finding one, second is finding one open. If you are lucky they are open 9 to 2. ( Closed Sundays)
