Day 28 bus back to Villafranca del Bierzo

We spent day 28 traveling back to Villafranca del Bierzo via bus, and seeing the sites in Villafranca.

Tomorrow it’s back to the Camino with a 20km route with some pretty good hills. It will be Lori’s first day so we will go at her pace.

With two pilgrims meals she should be fueled up and ready to go.

I am ready to get back to the journey having spent a couple of days on buses and eating too much. The rest has been good, but there is something about the Camino that is calling me to finish.

Most of the people I have met are days ahead of us now so we will have to make new friends. As I have seen before, new friends are just around the corner….
