New adventure, new friends

Thanks to a train workers strike I met four wonderful people today
who are on their own Camino. Markus from Switzerland, Michaela from Austria, Mike from Vancouver BC, and Joe from Toronto.

Thanks to the strike Markus, Michaela, Joe and I shared a taxi
from Bayonne to St. Jean Pied de Port. We later met Mike in town.

We enjoyed a night full of great conversation and anticipation for the first day walking.

St. Jean is a picturesque french town filled with quaint shops….
