Trieste Video Highlights and Travel Days

I’m writing this from our Airport Hotel Room at the Frankfurt Airport. We booked a room at the Sheraton that is connected/inside the Frankfurt Airport. It’s worth the extra expense to just be able to walk to the terminal for check-in and departures. It’s also a place you can come and stop at the restaurant and get a bite to eat that is not as crowded as the Airport cafe’s etc. Think of it as an alternate airport lounge.

In a few hours we board our flight back to Seattle. We have enjoyed this adventure, and being off the bikes for a few days we are yearning to get back home and do some more local rides. As some of you may know we have been pretty active at cycling in our home town of Sequim where we frequently ride 10-25 miles a day four or five times a week. So we are eager to get back home and be with family and to fall back into the normal routine for a while.

That said we will soon start planning our next adventure. It won’t be as long or as ambitious, but we do plan to get out and do some adventures while our health and age allows. We want to have no regrets about doing travel and active adventures during our go-go years.
