Passau Rest Day
Our adventure began with an early morning walk along the Inn’s river, capturing stunning photos of the three rivers convergence point. We then climbed the stairs and winding path to the Veste Oberhaus Fortress, marveling at its historical significance and breathtaking views. After exploring the fortress, we returned to the city to visit St. Stephan’s Cathedral, where we were captivated by the cathedral’s stunning frescos and the incredible lightning effects created by the incense during Mass.
Deggendorf – Passau
Our leisurely ride into Passau was a journey of discovery and relaxation. From the serene Danube waterways to the historic Benedictine Abbey Niederaltaich, each stop was a highlight of our cycling adventure. As we crossed the iconic bridge under the Danube, we captured the essence of this remarkable region, eager to explore more tomorrow.
Regensburg – Deggendorf
We set out early from Regensburg, enjoying a warm day and scenic views along the river, despite a couple of detours due to flood damage.

Ingolstadt – Regensburg
Embark on an unforgettable adventure with us as we explore the scenic Weltenburg Abbey and its stunning Biergarten. Savor delicious pretzels, Pork Knuckle, and Apple Strudel, and marvel at the breathtaking frescos and statues within the Abby’s church. From the vibrant hop fields of Eining to the picturesque river journey to Regensburg, this trip promises a perfect blend of culture, nature, and culinary delights.
